Jack’s Mini Village Rules of Play

Jack’s Mini Village, situated above Jack in the Box Soft Play Centre in the charming town of Beverley, East Yorkshire, is a haven of fun and imagination for both children and adults alike, and we want to ensure that it is also safe and clean environment. We kindly ask all visitors to adhere to our rules of play for everyone’s benefit. When enjoying our role play areas, please ensure that your children are supervised at all times, and please help us maintain the cleanliness of our facility by using the bins provided for any waste.

  • All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult carer, who must remain within Jack’s Mini Village at all times. Carers have full responsibility for children in their care for the duration of their visit.
  • You are required to have at least 1 adult for every 3 children in your group.
  • Please ensure that you pre-book for every person in your group as we may not be able to admit additional people if the capacity has been reached.
  • Please arrive no more than a few minutes before your session starts. We will be resetting everything and cleaning between sessions and will not permit entry until the session start time.
  • Sessions are 90 minutes, the last 5 minutes of which is “tidy up time” where we kindly ask your assistance to help put things back in their proper home.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. However, if you wish to change a booked session, please contact us at least 24 hours before your session and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
  • Shoes must be removed before entering the role play area.
  • Adults and children must wear socks or tights at all times in the role play area. Socks are available to purchase at reception.
  • Food and drink is not permitted in the role play area.
  • Food and drink not purchased on the premises may not be consumed in Jack’s Mini Village (excludes baby food).
  • Jack’s Mini Village is purpose built for children. Adults should be aware that the doorways are lower than you might normally expect so please mind your heads as you move in and out of each building.
  • We advise adult carers to supervise their children in the role play area, particularly children under 3 years old. Jack’s Mini Village has a large number of props, some of which may be small and will require additional supervision.
  • We want everyone (even the grown ups) to have a great time. Please be polite to other visitors and staff and treat the equipment with respect. Bad behaviour, abusive language or any form of aggression will not be tolerated in any circumstances. Offenders may be asked to leave and may be excluded from future visits.
  • For safety and crime prevention reasons we have CCTV in operation.
  • Smoking, vaping or any form of fire or flame is strictly prohibited
  • Anyone who is unwell or is feeling unwell must not enter the play area and may be asked to leave
  • Nappy changing and the use of potties, etc must be conducted in the toilets and nappies disposed of in the bins provided
